Teaching CapturePoint to read your documents.
CapturePoint extracted a blank or wrong field
Find which of five layers dropped the value — classification, location, recognition, validation, or export — fix only that layer, and prove the fix on several real documents.
Find your Machine ID and license tokens
Where CapturePoint shows the Machine ID support asks for, what capture tokens actually count (pages, not documents), where the remaining balance hides, and why re-imaging a PC triggers reactivation.
QCards: tell CapturePoint where documents start and end
QCards are barcode separator sheets that mark where each document begins — and a start card with no end signal makes capture wait about five minutes per batch. One checkbox removes the wait.
Read fields from the last or a specific page
Point an index-field rule at the page that actually carries the value — First Page, Last Page, or a specific page number — and know the one silent failure mode when a document is shorter than the rule expects.
Train CapturePoint templates that keep working
Train a Document Layout the structured way — classification and field extraction as separate steps, validated with regular expressions, and proven against a batch of real samples before production.
